Iran's Defense Ministry: Evil Triangle's Dream on Palestine Never to Come True

TEHRAN (FNA)- Iran’s Ministry of Defense underlined that the dreams of the US-Israel-Wahhabism triangle accelerate the destruction of the occupiers and the final victory of the Palestinian nation.

In its statement on Thursday, Iran’s Ministry of Defense referred to late founder of the Islamic Republic Imam Khomeini’s initiative of Quds Day, and said the International Quds Day is demonstration of Muslims' unity and solidarity.

It reiterated that dreams of the US-Israel-Wahhabism triangle will never come true, and said, "Their plots will accelerate the destruction of the occupiers and the final victory of the Palestinian nation."

The Iranian Defense Ministry said that the Palestine issue has turned into a global issue and made the Islamic Republic of Iran as the pioneer of justice-seeking and fight with oppression.

The statement stressed that the only way to save the Muslims’ first qibla from the infanticide regime of Israel is the support of the Palestinians’ will to expel the regime from Palestine and the return of its people to their home.

"No doubt, International Quds  Day a response to the call of Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei to demonstrate the unity of the Muslim World in support of Palestine and against the Israeli regime.

In also stressed that the US-cooked ‘Deal of the Century’ or any project that has nothing to do with the Palestinian people is a plot along with the failed US project of the ISIL terrorists and proxy wars in the region to make it secure for the Israeli regime.

The International Quds Day is an annual event opposing Israel's occupation of Beitul-Muqaddas. Anti-Zionist rallies and demonstrations are held on the last Friday of Ramadan in Muslim and Arab countries around the world, specially in Iran, as well as a large number of non-Muslim states.

The International Quds Day was started by the late Founder of the Islamic Republic, Imam Khomeini, in 1979 as a way of expressing solidarity with the Palestinians and underscoring importance of the holy Quds to Muslims.

Due to the outbreak of coronavirus in Iran, the International Quds Day will be commemorated differently without holding gatherings and rallies.
