Iran’s Oil, Gas Output Unaffected by Coronavirus
TEHRAN (FNA)- Iranian Oil Minister Bijan Zanganeh said that the coronavirus outbreak has not disrupted the production of oil and gas in the country even for a single day.
Zanganeh said despite the spread of the COVID-19 for the past 8 months in Iran, the oil and gas sector has worked ceaselessly without a hiatus even for a single day.

He noted that production of oil and gas plays a major role in production of electricity and water.
In relevant remarks it was announced on Monday that the 11th refinery’s operator at phase 13 of the South Pars Gas Field (SPGF) produces 40,000 bpd gas condensates.
“The refinery as a fully domestically made facility will come on stream soon,” an official with the facility Mohammad Saeedian said on Monday.
“According to the planning, the refinery should produce 50 million cubic meters of gas per day, while the figure is currently just over 35 million cubic meters,” he added.
