Iranian Athletes Grab 17 Colorful Medals in Online 2020 Asia Taekwondo Poomsae Championships
TEHRAN (FNA)- The Iranian athletes participating in the first-ever 2020 Asia Taekwondo Poomsae Championships won a remarkable number of colorful medals at the end of the final stage of the event.
The 2020 Asia Taekwondo Poomsae Championships were held online on November 12-14 in two standard individual and innovative sections, with each country being able to nominate a maximum of two players in each age category.
The final stage of the competitions was broadcast live on the Internet.
These competitions do not have a team ranking.
Among the Iranian representatives, Sakineh Houshangi won the gold medal, Atosa Farahmand, Kobra Sakhaei Vatan, Zahra Eftekhari, Hamid Nazari, and Hedayat Arianfar won the silver medals of the competitions, and Razieh Aghaei, Seyedeh Masoumeh Hosseini, Narjes Sharifi, Maryam Arabi, Mohammad Taghi Hatami, Seyed Hossein Mousinia, Akbar Forouzan, Ali Akbar Mohammadi, Ghorban Delshad, Abbas Rezaei, and Ebrahim Khavari won bronze medals.
The standard competitions of this period were followed in the age groups of 18 to 30 years old, 31 to 40 years old, 41 to 50 years old, 51 to 60 years old, 61 to 65 years old, and over 65 years old. They implemented the form for years.
