Tehran, Minsk Intent to Enhance Parliamentary Cooperation
TEHRAN (FNA)- Iranian Envoy to Belarus Saeed Yari and Chairman of Belarus Parliament Commission on International Affairs Andrei Savinykh conferred on ways to promote inter-parliamentary relations.
Yari and Andrei Savinykh discussed the latest developments of bilateral and multilateral ties as well as parliamentary, political, and economic cooperation.
The Iranian ambassador referred to the consultation and cooperation between Tehran and Minsk in international organizations and called for expansion of relations in every field, especially economic and trade ties within the framework of Eurasia Economic Union (EAEU).

Stressing Iran’s role in West Asia, Savinykh said that Iran is an important partner of Belarus in the region.
In relevant remarks in early November, high-ranking Iranian and Belarusian officials in a meeting in Minsk conferred on ways to further broaden relations between the two nations.
The meeting was held between Iran's Ambassador to Belarus Saeed Yari and Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko.
The Belarusian president termed Iran as a significant partner in the fields of politics and economy in West Asia.
