Speaker’s Aide: Iran-China Deal Reached via Supreme Leader’s Acumen
TEHRAN (FNA)- Iranian Parliament Speaker’s Special Aide for International Affairs Hossein Amir-Abdollahian said that Iran-China comprehensive cooperation document was concluded through the Supreme Leader's tact and foresight.
"With the tact and foresight of the Supreme Leader, within the framework of the will of the two countries leaders and Tehran- Beijing strategic ties, the document for 25-year comprehensive cooperation between Iran and China was signed by the foreign ministers," Amir-Abdollahian wrote on his Twitter account on Saturday evening.
"This multi-faceted and important document was signed in Tehran on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries," he added.

Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif and his Chinese counterpart Wang Yi in a meeting in Tehran on Saturday signed a comprehensive strategic cooperation document.
The cooperation document had for the first time been discussed in 2015, when Chinese President Xi Jinping visited Iran, to lead bilateral ties to a comprehensive and strategic level.
