Nader Talebzadeh

Q: Nader was known for his cinematic acumen, as he directed and produced many documentaries and movies. What was the distinguishing factor in his works?

A: Cinema plays an important role in formulating public opinion by providing information and showing hidden truths. The documentaries and movies that Nader produced sought truth by connecting with people at a personal level; making the audience experience different emotions in real life and sometimes experience war situations. Watching a movie or a documentary occupies the audiences’ senses more than most forms of art, particularly when the experience is in reference to a memory that you may already have or that you already seek to experience. Documentaries have the power to shape opinions and perceptions of the audience in various aspects such as love, lifestyle and even the influence of the united states on the world. It is one of the many factors that Nader portrayed, contributing to the overall political awareness of his audience in Iran and all over the world.

Q: Along with his works at Cinema and chairing New Horizon conferences, he ran weekly TV programs including “Asr” (the Age) and “Raaz” (the Secret). How do you find the ultimate outcome of this works?

A: In general, the person working behind the camera and behind the scenes usually cares about delivering the message (a truth or idea) more than personal exposure or fame. Nader was a clear example of this devotion to delivering messages he considered to be above individuals and therefore he did not only work behind the camera (at the preproduction level) but also made sure that his message was heard through seminars, political campaigns, media, press, talk shows, group meetings with youth and elderly and international conferences international influential figures and individuals... to put it short, Nader did not leave any aspect of what God has given him in might and power go in vain - rather he gave everything he had and could until he passed away in order to uphold God’s words.
