Hadi Chatila is a visual artist whose productions span from videography, animation, motion graphics, kinetic type, interviews, and documentaries.
Q: Nader Talebzadeh was known for his cinematic acumen, as he directed many documentaries and movies. How do you think his works affected people?
A: The late Nader Talebzadeh, willfully left the West after attaining his degrees, and came back to the Islamic Republic in the time when it needed him the most, and founded a formidable base of cinematic operations with the likes of the great Martyr Avini. Using the cinematic and documentary format, he was able to create professionally produced content and support others to do so as well, to cover what was happening inside Iran and in the outside world alike showing the people of Iran and the world the reality behind the ongoing issues from an unbiased perspective. That entitled the viewer to an untainted rhetoric to witness truth in the best way possible.
Q: He also served as the chairman of the International New Horizon Conference. How do you assess this annual event?
A: This conference served as a bridge and congregational hotspot for great minds of the world to speak freely without censorship or threat of what the world is facing; it was able to let the free thinkers of the world divulge the sensitive information and share it with their peers and other truth seekers, which shed a great deal of light on the double standards while dealing with the inhumane crimes of the US administration and the Israeli regime alike, causing a lot of discomfort as well as blowing the whistle on many undercover or secret acts.
Q: Talebzadeh was a media personality, who never did any terrorist acts. Why were he, his wife and some of his colleagues sanctioned by the US? Why is Instagram removing posts related to him?
A: The conference shed the light on various atrocities committed by the US and Israeli regime, and had a bundle of sources of reputable international account as well as very documented facts. These sanctions came as a way to pressure, make quiet and shut down him and his wife and some of his colleagues. As for the removal of posts, any mention of any information that might cause duress or issues to the US or its allies or even pictures of freedom fighters or symbols on social media the networks will strike them as against their policies or even as terrorist support acts or misinformation, sadly because they have utmost control over these platforms.
