Mark Dankof: Talebzadeh Uncovered Truth about US Policies
TEHRAN (FNA)- Mark Dankof, former US Senate candidate, says the late prominent Iranian filmmaker, Nader Talebzadeh, made American intellectuals aware of the US’ policy for destroying independent states.
In an interview with FNA, Dankof said, “The New Horizon conferences in their best years featured some of the best critics of America Neo-Conservative and pro-Zionist foreign policy from both the Left and the Right. This is what drew the ire of an American government, national security, and media establishment wedded to one another and the continued enablement of policies designed to destroy sovereign nation states abroad, primarily in the interest of Israel and its Lobby and in the perpetuation of the Petrodollar and the profit margins of the military-industrial complex.”
Mark Dankof is a broadcaster and political commentator. Formerly the 36th District Chairman of the Republican Party in King County, Seattle and later an elected delegate to Texas State Republican Conventions in 1994 and 1996, he entered the United States Senate race in Delaware in 2000 as the nominated candidate of the Constitution Party against Democratic candidate Thomas Carper and Republican incumbent William Roth.

Q: Talebzadeh was known for his cinematic acumen, as he directed many documentaries and movies. How do you believe his works paved the way for his audience to know more about the truth?
A: Nader Talebzadeh’s passing has robbed Iran and the world of a gifted filmmaker whose films and documentaries underscore what is possible when freedom of expression and the dutiful use of the gifts God bestowed upon him combined to produce some of the best cinematic commentary and productions the world has ever known. I am proud to have worked with him on the Iran Air Flight 655 project as one of his sources. Nowhere in the United States mainstream media would someone of my perspective been allowed to speak. Today there is not one American in a hundred who knows anything about this tragedy, or would necessarily care about if he or she did.
Q: Talebzadeh was a media personality who never did any terrorist acts. Why were he, his wife and some of his colleagues sanctioned by the US?
A: The New Horizon conferences in their best years featured some of the best critics of America Neo-Conservative and pro-Zionist foreign policy from both the Left and the Right. This is what drew the ire of an American government, national security, and media establishment wedded to one another and the continued enablement of policies designed to destroy sovereign nation states abroad, primarily in the interest of Israel and its Lobby and in the perpetuation of the Petrodollar and the profit margins of the military-industrial complex. Mr. Talebzadeh provided a forum for those of us in the United States and the West trying to warn our respective countrymen of the dangers of this phenomenon and its global agenda. This is why he was demonized and targeted with sanctions and other methodologies.
The same thing is now happening to journalists and thinkers critical of American governmental and media demonization of Vladimir Putin and Russia. American Charles Bausman of Russia Insider is an example of the targeting endured by independent journalists. Russian state media outlets are also experiencing the same harassment that Mr. Talebzadeh and Press TV Iran have for years. Consortium News recently had its funds confiscated and its account shut down by Pay Pal without warning or legitimate justification, simply for contradicting the Party Line on such things as NATO expansion, Bill Clinton's bombing of Serbia in 1999, Joe and Hunter Biden, Zelensky, the American coup d'etat in Kiev in February of 2014, the deaths and ethnic cleansing in the Donbass for 8 years after the coup, and the American bio-labs in Ukraine.
Q: What is the legacy of Talebzadeh?
A: Archbishop Carlos Maria Viganò's open letter tells the tale of the tape: This war in Ukraine has been promoted and financed by the architects of the New World Order. I agree entirely. Which brings us back to the sad loss of Nader Talebzadeh. One can imagine what a cinematic production and conference he could have produced on this war and what led up to it, with speakers like the Archbishop, Charles Bausman, Boyd Cathey, and Alexander Mercouris and Alex Christoforou of the Duran.
But it was not meant to be, which means that the world today is a far more dangerous place than it was after 9-11 and the beginning of Bush's War on Terror. Russia and Iran and American and Western dissidents from these evil policies share one thing as members of the human race: We have all been targeted for marginalization, demonization, and eventual eradication by these forces. Which means we must still cooperate in any way we can. Time is running out.
